Masseter Botox reduces the biting force itself without touching the teeth. We use it when grinding during sleep is chipping the edges of your front teeth little by little.
You need to have it again every few months. Teeth that are already worn or chipped do not come back.
If only the shape is rebuilt while the force stays the same, the new part chips before the original tooth does. Shape is handled by a different treatment.

Why masseter Botox
It does not touch the teethNo shaving, no covering, no moving. It deals only with force.
It reduces the force behind the damageWhen you are awake, pain makes you stop, but during sleep you cannot. We reduce that force.
We do not promise a shapeEdges that have already flattened do not come back, and we will not tell you they will.
How masseter Botox works
No shaving. First we check whether the force is still there.
- 01
We look at how the edges are worn
We check whether several teeth, not just one, are flat as if cut with a ruler, and whether your jaw feels stiff in the morning.
- 02
We decide where to reduce the force
The target is the chewing muscle. The teeth are not touched.
- 03
We relax the force
The pulled string goes slack. After a few months, it tightens again.
- 04
Chipped teeth are handled separately
Worn edges do not come back. Whether to restore the shape is discussed after the force is reduced.
How we handle biting force
Biting force during sleep remains even after the shape is fixed. We look at the force first.
Reducing the force itself
We reduce the biting force without touching the teeth. It needs to be repeated every few months, and parts that are already worn or chipped do not come back.
Rebuilding the chipped edge
If only the shape is rebuilt while the force stays the same, the new part breaks before the original tooth does. The shape can be rebuilt the same day, but the force needs to be reduced first.
Restoring the alignment
This is when biting force has pushed the teeth out of alignment. After they are moved, you need to wear a retainer.
When little tooth remains
This is when the wall of the tooth has broken down, not just the tip. A single layer on the front is not enough, so it needs to be covered all the way around.
Is one session enough?
You need to have it again every few months. When the force returns, the edges of the teeth wear down again.
Will my worn teeth come back?
They do not come back. This treatment keeps them from wearing further. The shape is restored with resin veneers.
Can’t I just sleep with a night guard?
A night guard that absorbs the force is another option. Masseter Botox reduces the force itself. We decide on the approach after the exam.
Will it make my face slimmer?
When biting force is reduced, that muscle is used less. The goal of this treatment is to protect the edges of your front teeth. We do not promote it for slimming the face.
