How do you decide which one fits?
The tooth comes before the date. A tooth with little color difference from its neighbors, where a simple tone is enough, can look natural with a one-day veneer. If the depth of color has to match the neighboring teeth, if the light through the edge needs to show, or if you want it placed without shaving, a build-up laminate fits.
I often hear, "I am in a hurry and want it done in a day." Before talking about dates, I first tell you which method suits that tooth. If you have a fixed date, such as a wedding, we count back from it and check whether there is a week to spare.
Can I switch to a build-up laminate after a one-day veneer?
You can, but a one-day veneer is bonded after the front is trimmed slightly, and trimmed enamel does not come back. It is better to choose the method that fits the result you want from the start.

Can a build-up laminate be done in a day?
No. Layering and firing again and again takes time, so we do not shorten it to the same day.
Do I wear temporary teeth for that week?
Brinate does not involve shaving, so there are no temporary teeth. You go about your days with your own teeth while you wait.
